Felix Insaurralde, was the number 1 ranked player in Paraguay from the age of 12 to 18, where he represented the country on many international events. Nominated to be part of the Davis cup team with only 15 years of age, becoming the youngest player in the history of the country.
He participated in Pan-American games in Winnipeg, Canada, and accepted a full scholarship to represent East Tennessee State University (D1) where he helped to achieve their best ranking in history (#32 in the nation). After six years at ETSU he graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master in Public Financial Management.
He faced many recognized players, such as John Isner, Bob Bryan, David Nabaldian, Bruno Soares, etc. he played exhibitions with top players such Yanik Noah (ex No.1 in the world) and Victor Pecci (ex No. 7 in the world). Today Felix Insaurralde is certified as Elite coach from the USPTA as well as High performance and sport science coach by the USTA.
